Project first survey results

  We administered a knowledge test on renewable energy to teachers and students. We also asked teachers about the sweaty classroom model and the six hats technique. 15.2% of the participants in the project are thinking about energy. 8.7% are undecided. 89.1% of people know that wind energy is obtained from wind. 26.1% think that geothermal energy is not among the renewable energy. 65.2% think that geothermal energy uses the radioactive heat of magma. 10.9% think that energy cannot be produced from plant and animal wastes. 17.4% think that fossil fuels belong to renewable energy. 87% think that energy can be obtained from the sun. 91.3% think that hydroelectric energy is obtained from the potential energy of water. 93.5% consider wind energy as renewable energy. 73.9% of them know that big gas is obtained from plant and animal wastes, 19.6% of them is their decision. 80.4% think that oil is among the renewable energy 78.3% think that wind energy is obtained from sea and ocean winds....

 It is an inevitable fact that fossil fuels have an important place in our lives. We use these fossil fuels in almost every aspect of our lives, especially in heating, transportation and electricity generation. Fossil fuels were formed as a result of the thermochemical reaction of animal and plant wastes buried under the ground millions of years ago in a certain place. Major examples of fossil fuels are coal, oil and natural gas. Although our use of fossil fuels so much leads us to think that fossil fuels have positive effects, it has got negative effects like as positive effects. They have positive effects in terms of being economically cheap, easily transportable and storable, easy to install and effortless fuel.
